Managing Anxiety

Tension, pessimistic thinking, focused more on the past or the future. Inability to still the mind, always on to the next thing, trouble turning the off switch.

Hi, This is Reclaim Happy here to discuss anxiety and stress. Do you deal with anxiety stress or tension? Do you have negative thought patterns? Do you worry about the future? Do you think in lack is it tough for you to be present or are you typically on to the next thing? Do you have trouble turning the off switch? When I was at Nationwide, I didn't handle my stress well. I struggled with being present and faced burnout. Through my own journey I now handle things very differently and have a much better tool belt in dealing with stress. We have an estimated 80,000 thoughts a day, 95% are repeated thoughts, 80% are negative, it's a funnel. Our thoughts impact our mind, our body, our personal reality, and thus our reality. 80% are negative. Just imagine if we could shift it to fifty, 95% are repeats, how do we expect our reality to change if we keep repeating our thoughts over and over again. Cognitive behavioral therapy and other methods I employ will help you break these cycles. I have a ton of techniques to deal with stress. One technique is simply closing our eyes and imagining our stressors around us, swirling winds, but we are a sturdy foundation, a sturdy house that doesn't shift with the winds. Picture your life with less stress, less anxiety, and more positive thought patterns. Visualize a world where you worry less, are more present, and better able to turn off work. Reclaim Happy can be your avenue.
